A series of protests erupted in the days after the country elected Donald Trumps as the 45th president of the United States.

On the night of November 12, protestors marched from Union Square to Trump tower rallying against the president-elect.

And on November 13, anti-Trump protestors rallied in Washington Square Park in a “Love Trumps Hate” protest to recognize those groups of people who were targeted by Trump’s hate speeches including: women, Latino immigrants, Muslims and the LGBTQ community. ┬áThere was a lot of praise for New York’s diversity–and a call to not fall back within the shadows, but to come forward proudly in the same way they have always been comfortable in doing in NYC.
